Shortly before the Franklin Foundation Hospital Board of Commissioners meeting commenced on Thursday, board Chairman Eugene Foulcard announced to those in attendance that he had been handed a letter on behalf of the FFH medical staff.

Scout hut moved

PATTERSON — After an arduous, yearlong process, the Boy Scout hut in Morey Park was moved across the street today to its new home at 1105 Main St.

Oaths of Office

St. Mary Parish Clerk of Court Cliff Dressel gave the oath of office to Chief Deputy Jane C. PIlant, who has worked in the office since 1962 and as chief deputy sine 1984. Below, Third Circuit Court of Appeals Judge John E. Conery adminstered the oath to the clerks of the court.
