Recent widespread flooding in parts of south Louisiana will once again show residents’ resiliency and the state’s great outdoor opportunities for visitors, a state tourism official said Wednesday.
Town officials in Berwick on Tuesday made Aug. 20 into Ham Radio Day as part of Lighthouse Weekend. The big red lighthouse in Berwick will be featured around the world Saturday, Aug. 20, at the Everett S. Berry Lighthouse Park in Berwick from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m..
