A group of community members hopes to bring a day care facility for senior citizens to Morgan City before the end of 2018.


In January, St. Mary Parish students in various related programs converge on Franklin High School to demonstrate their learning and their achievements. Last weekend's event was the latest in a long tradition of that showcase.

CC’s Coffeehouse and Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt franchises are scheduled to open in Morgan City around April 1, pending all things construction-wise come together smoothly and in a timely manner.

Ku Klux Klan recruitment fliers found in Berwick

James Dawson, national director of the Patriotic Brigade Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, emailed The Daily Review the Klan recruitment flier that Dawson said was distributed in the Morgan City area on Christmas Eve.

A Ku Klux Klan group distributed recruitment fliers in Berwick on Christmas Eve to spread its message, which the group says is not about hate.



Centerville snaps Vermilion Catholic’s 5 game district winning streak 68-57. Centerville is now 12-5 on the season and 4-2 in 7-1A, while Vermilion Catholic slips to 8-4 overall and 5-1 in 7-1A.
