The Morgan City High School football team will begin District 7-4A play Friday when it travels to face Ellender High School.

MCHS beats Ellender

Morgan City picked up an 8-2 win against Ellender Wednesday in Houma to move back into first place in the District 7-4A standings. Morgan City High School used a five-run seventh inning to break open a close game for an eventual 8-2 win against Ellender in District 7-4A action Wednesday.

Berwick Panthers rout Ellender, 19-1
