Deputies find, arrest man on several charges at casino

The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office reports the following arrest over the weekend, according to Sheriff Mark Hebert:

—Jordan Granger, 23, of Levee Road, Morgan City, was arrested at 3:42 a.m. Sunday at the Amelia Belle Casino on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of simple criminal damage to property and simple battery. He was located when a sheriff’s deputy was responding to a separate complaint. He remains jailed with bail set at $1,000.

—Sean Gammon, 25, of Evangeline Road, Montz, was arrested at 12:38 p.m. Saturday on U.S. 90 in Amelia on a warrant from St. John the Baptist Parish for driving under suspension. He was released on a summons to appear in court.

—Carl Pierre Keiffer, 41, of Parro Lane, Berwick, was arrested at 4:31 p.m. Saturday at the sheriff’s office in Morgan City for possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. He remains jailed with bail not set.

—Corey Mire, 24, of Saturn Road, Bayou Vista, was arrested at 12:44 a.m. Sunday on Southwest Road in Bayou Vista for domestic abuse battery (strangulation), simple criminal damage to property and resisting a police officer with force. He remains jailed with no bail set.

—Juan R. Torres, 48, of Railroad Street, Patterson, was arrested at 9:19 a.m. Sunday on warrants for issuing worthless checks. He was released on a summons to appear in court.

—Leslie Janelle Matthews, 37, of Friendship Alley, Amelia, was arrested at her residence on Sunday on warrants for probation violation. She remains jailed with bail not set.

—Nicole Marie Lodrigues, 28, of Second Street, Berwick, was arrested Sunday on a warrant for issuing worthless checks. Lodrigues was located on the warrant and released on a summons to appear in court on Oct. 29.

—Four juvenile males, one age 16 years, two age 15 years, and one age 14 years, were arrested at 9:32 a.m. Friday at Patterson High School for theft. Two of them were additionally charged with simple criminal damage to property. The school administrators initially detained the four students after they broke into a locker and took money from it. They were released to their parents pending juvenile court proceedings.

The Patterson Police Department reported the following arrests overnight, according to Chief Patrick M. LaSalle:

—Clarence Woods Jr., 18, Taft Street, Patterson, was arrested at 8:58 a.m. Sunday for carnal knowledge of a juvenile and unauthorized entry. He remains jailed with bail not set.

—Travis Montgomery, 37, of Bessie Street, Patterson, was arrested at 11:38 p.m. Sunday for telephone harassment and stalking. He remains jailed with bail not set.

The Morgan City Police Department reports the following arrests over the weekend, according to Chief Marc Folse:

—Tommy E. Lishman, 43, of Brusly Street, Thibodaux, was arrested at 6:37 a.m. Saturday on Chester Bowles Street for domestic abuse battery and criminal damage to property. He was released upon payment of $3,500 bail.

—Jenry J. Craft, 30, of Railroad Avenue, was arrested at 6:52 a.m. Saturday on Railroad Avenue for entering or remaining after forbidden and a hold for a failure-to-appear warrant from St. Mary Parish Drug Court for district court. He remains jailed with a $100,000 bail.

—Matthew J. Isbell, 28, of Georgetown, Texas, was arrested at 1:43 a.m. Saturday at the Legends lounge at the Holiday Inn for appearing in public intoxicated, entry or remaining after forbidden, and resisting an officer. He remains jailed with total bail of $1,026.

—Bridget Skinner, 39, of Grace Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 2:39 a.m. Saturday at the Waffle House on a felony warrant for the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office for issuing worthless checks over $500. She remains jailed with bail not set.

—Tyroy Charles, 19, of Leona Street, Morgan City, arrested at 1:07 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Second Street and Railroad Avenue for resisting an officer. He posted bail of $492 and was released.

—Megan Falgout, 28, of Francis Street, Berwick, was arrested at 10 p.m. Friday at Walgreen’s for theft by shoplifting items valued $272. She was released on payment of a $495 bail.

—James G. Perry, 25, of Leona Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 5:02 p.m. Friday on Federal Avenue for driving under suspension, a hold from St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office for a failure-to-appear warrant on a hit and run, and a fugitive hold from Terrebonne Parish for a bench warrant for failure-to-appear for traffic charges. He posted bail of $330 and was transferred to the sheriff’s office.

—Bryant Harris, 24, of Guzzetta Drive, Berwick, was arrested at 4:22 a.m. Friday at the intersection of Federal Avenue and Bush Street for hit-and-run driving, careless operation, no driver’s license, no insurance and possession of marijuana first offense. He was released on bail of $2,166.

—Herman Lacarte, 45, of Garber Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 2:07 a.m. Sunday at Waffle House for resisting officers, disturbing of the peace and battery of a police officer. Officers were dealing with another incident involving crowd control, and Lacarte involved himself in the crowd and is alleged to have struck officers. He was released on a $3,284 bail.
