Crawfest is April 20 at Tulane University
NEW ORLEANS — Crawfest will be held April 20 at the Tulane University uptown campus. Festivities are from noon to 10 p.m.
The annual music, food and arts festival hosts 10,000 to 12,000 community members and students that are treated to 12 bands, 19,000-plus pounds of crawfish, local food and art vendors.
Admission to Crawfest is free for everyone. Tulane students, faculty or staff receive free crawfish and drinks. For everyone else, crawfish and unlimited drink cost only $10 per person. Kids under 12 are $5.
The musical lineup includes: The Funky Meters, Crawfest SuperJam, The Main Squeeze, Honey Island Swamp Band, The Stooges Brass Band, Sons of Fathers, Mia Borders, Mississippi Rail Company, The Wild Magnolias, Kristin Diable, Mission South, and Gold and the Rush.
Tulane’s uptown campus is located at 31 McAlister Drive.
