UPDATE: 2 men wanted in drive-by shooting

Two more suspects have been identified as suspects in an incident in which a man was shot in the head on Cherry Street in Morgan City on Tuesday.
Police announced they were searching for the to men on the department’s Facebook page Friday afternoon.
Police stated warrants have issued for the following.
--Dequante Wesely, 20, whose last known address is in the 500 block of Orange Street in Morgan City. Police stated Wesely is charged with two counts of attempted first degree murder and assault by drive-by shooting.
--Anthony J. Dixon, 24, 5 ft. 6 in., 140 lbs., with a last known address in Brownell Homes in Morgan City. Dixon is charged with two counts of attempted first degree murder and assault by drive-by shooting, police stated.
Police reported a third arrest in the incident. Friday’s report is below.
Brandon Dewayne Poole of Morgan City was arrested for the Tuesday drive-by shooting of James A. Kenner.
Poole, 27, of Mallard Street in Morgan City, was arrested at 9:23 p.m. Thursday on warrants for attempted first degree murder, assault by drive-by shooting and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Morgan City Chief Michael Banks said detectives were able to gather evidence, which implicated Poole. Police then secured the warrant for Poole who was located at a residence on Mallard Street in Brownell Homes and taken into custody without incident, the chief said.
The Tuesday shooting, which took place in the 900 block of Cherry Street in Morgan City, left Kenner in serious and guarded condition at a New Orleans hospital with a single gunshot wound to the head.
Poole remained jailed this morning on $300,000 bail.
Banks said the investigation is still continuing.
