Police Reports 1-7-14
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests this morning:
Pearl Ross, 29, of 224 North Verret St., Amelia, was arrested Monday at 9:43 a.m. on a warrant charging her with hit and run, failure to report an accident and open alcohol container. She was released on $2,500 bond.
John Finister V, 20, of 104 Chris Lane, Centerville, was arrested Monday at 12:42 p.m. on charges of three counts of simple burglary in connection with an investigation into a warehouse burglary in Garden City. No bond was set.
David J. Billiot, no age given, of Lafayette, was arrested Monday at 3:46 p.m. on a charge of theft over $500. He was released on a summons.
Mark A. White, 31, of 110 Alexander Lane, Franklin, was arrested Monday at 5:08 p.m. on a failure to appear warrant on charges of obstruction or interference with members of an education institution. No bond was set.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Jermaine Small, 33, of West Third Street, Franklin, Monday at 11:13 a.m. on a Morgan City warrant charging him with simple assault and telephone harassment. He was transferred to Morgan City police.
Brandy Brown, 20, of Martin Luther King Boulevard, Franklin, was arrested Monday at 3:59 p.m. on warrants charging her with aggravated second degree battery, disturbing the peace by fighting and inciting a riot. She was released on $32,500 bond.
Jasreail James, 29, of New Iberia, was arrested today at 12:25 a.m. on a charge of suspended driver’s license and a Houma warrant charging him with issuing worthless checks. He was held on $1,000 bond.
