Police Reports 1-24-14

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Michael J. Gentry, 26, of Bayou L’Ourse, was arrested Thursday at 12:02 p.m. on a charge of theft of goods. He was released on $1,000 bond.
Tabitha Gross, 36, of 109 Carter Lane, Berwick, was arrested Thursday at 3:49 p.m. on a charge of theft of goods. She was released on a summons.
Narcotics Division agents operated with Berwick Police Thursday with a “no knock” warrant at 604 Renwick Blvd. in Berwick. They reportedly located drugs and a vehicle that had been reported stolen. Four persons were arrested and held without bail:
Richard Merritt, 29, of 1426 Live Oak St., Patterson, was charged at 8:49 p.m. with third offense possession of marijuana, possession of Schedule II drugs and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a juvenile.
Brandon Micah Scott, 26, of 1350 Catherine St., Patterson, was charged at 8:49 p.m. with third offense possession of marijuana, possession of a Schedule II drug and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a minor.
Chris Murphy Smith Jr., 26, of 604 Renwick Blvd., Berwick, was charged at 8:49 p.m. with third offense possession of marijuana or synthetic marijuana, possession of Schedule II and III drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of controlled dangerous substances in the presence of a minor.
Alan Granger, 23, of 303 Egle St., Morgan City, was charged at 8:49 p.m. with third offense possession of marijuana, possession of a Schedule II drug, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a minor and possession of stolen things.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of three persons on warrants resulting from an incident at Joe’s Lounge in Franklin on Jan. 17.
Markila Ruffin, 20, of Easy St., Franklin, was charged Thursday at 6:24 a.m. with disturbing the peace and simple battery. She was released on $750 bond.
Kimberly Thomas, 24, of Anderson Street, Franklin, was arrested at 3:01 p.m. Thursday and charged with disturbing the peace and simple battery. She was released on $750 bond.
Lakeisha Kinchen, 28, of Weber Street, Franklin, was charged at 7:10 p.m. Thursday with disturbing the peace by fighting and simple battery. She was released on $750 bond.
