St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported responding to 56 complaints in the parish and the following arrests relating to east St. Mary Parish:
—Jessica Ross, 25, of the 800 block of Levee Road in Morgan City, was arrested at 1:35 a.m. Tuesday for driving while intoxicated, open alcoholic container in a motor vehicle and improper lane usage. A deputy responded to a complaint of a reckless driver on U.S. 90 in the Patterson area. The deputy located the vehicle and observed the vehicle travel onto the shoulder of the roadway multiple times. Upon making contact with the driver, identified as Ross, the deputy observed an open container of beer. While speaking with Ross, the deputy smelled the odor of an alcoholic beverage on her breath and person. Ross registered .104 grams-percent blood-alcohol content on the breath test. Ross was jailed with no bail set.
—Janice Fabre, 60, of the 100 block of Ross Lane in Morgan City, was arrested at 7:09 p.m. Tuesday on a warrant for issuing worthless checks. Fabre turned herself in at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center in Centerville on drug court sanctions and it was learned that she also held an active warrant for her arrest. No bail is set.
Morgan City Assistant Police Chief Michael Banks reported the following arrests:
—Pebble M. Francois, 48, of Everett Street in Morgan City, was arrested at 10:09 a.m. Tuesday for possession of Schedule I controlled dangerous substance-synthetic marijuana and theft of goods-value $43.27.
Francois was detained at a La. 182 supermarket after she was observed concealing items in her clothing. The subject was detained and the items which contained items valued at $43.27 were recovered. Francois was jailed.
—Dietra R. James, 36, of Fifth Street in Morgan City, was arrested at 2:23 p.m. Tuesday on a warrant for contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile
James was located at a Fifth Street residence and jailed.
Patterson Police Chief Patrick LaSalle reported no arrests.
Berwick Police Chief James Richard reported no arrests.
