City council meets Tuesday
Franklin City Council members meet Tuesday in regular session for September.
The council will take up bids for a roof to cover the water plant clarifier unit.
City planning and zoning director Blake Steiner will present a flood control variance application for acceptance.
There are resolutions to enter into a cooperative agreement with the state for development of a proposed archive at city hall; and a resolution granting a flood control variance based on “better available data” to Charenton Canal LLC, at 320 Bora Lane.
A proclamation in recognition of a local student’s track and field accomplishments is on the agenda.
The council meets at 6 p.m. at City Hall on Iberia Street.
