City council meets Tues.
Franklin City Council members meet Tuesday in regular session for July.
Guests include Joel Miller of Miller Engineers & Associates, regarding the water system clarifier roof and city hall water proofing.
The council will consider adoption of ordinances declaring surplus property and another leasing property owned by the city.
Resolutions include a grant application with the federal Bureau of Justice Assistance; a cooperative agreement with Sewer District 5; lifting the open alcohol container law for the Centerville Booster Club Co-Ed Ragball Tournament Aug. 16-17 at Caffery Park; and appointing members to the city’s Governor’s Archives Committee.
Mayor Raymond Harris is scheduled to suggest approval of bid letting for the water plant clarifier roof and city hall water proofing, as well as discuss preclearance of the city’s redistricting plan.
Councilman Eugene Foulcard is slated to discuss security lighting at Broussard-Harris Park.
The council meets at 6 p.m. at City Hall on Iberia Street.
