Chabill’s to open new facility in Baton Rouge
MORGAN CITY, La. — Chabill’s Tire Service plans to open its newest retail facility at 13887 Coursey Blvd. in Baton Rouge with a grand opening and ribbon-cutting at 10 a.m. May 24.
The facility is the company’s first location in Baton Rouge and, according to Business Development Director Beth Barron, it is just one of several planned for the Baton Rouge area.
“Our plan is to open another location in Dutchtown before the end of the year and then build at least one new store per year in and around Baton Rouge in the future,” Barron said.
Chabill’s has been in business for 45 years and has locations in Lafayette, Broussard, Youngsville, Houma, Thibodaux, Morgan City, New Iberia, Mathews, Bayou Vista and Franklin.
Chabill’s is a direct dealer of Michelin products which consists of the brands Michelin, BFGoodrich, Uniroyal, Riken and Medalist. Chabill’s can also supply customers with Goodyear, Dunlop, Kelly and Cooper, as well as many other tire lines.
Chabill’s also offers several mechanical and vehicle maintenance services.
Chabill’s, owned by Charles Gowland and headquartered in Morgan City, presently employs more than 100 people in Louisiana.
