CCHS finishes district with a perfect record

Central Catholic finished its District 7-1A season with a 12-0 mark following a 72-27 victory against Lafayette Christian in Morgan City Friday.

Lumberjills fall in overtime

The Lumberjills fell 67-52 in overtime to the Lady Hornets in Tuesday’s District 9-3A matchup in Patterson. It was the third time this season the two teams had to go to overtime to settle a contest. CCHS routs Highland Baptist, 75-13

Central Catholic improved to 19-2 overall and 8-0 in District 7-1A with a 75-13 win. Central Catholic, Class 1A’s top-ranked team in the latest unofficial Class 1A power rankings, will play at No. 3 Vermilion Catholic Tuesday in Abbeville.
