CCHS falls to HLB

The Central Catholic Lady Eagles dropped their regular season finale to H.L. Bourgeois in Gray Wednesday 3-0 (25-17, 25-7, 25-9). The Lady Eagles, who automatically qualified for the playoffs as the District 6-V champion, now will await their playoff seeding, which will be announced Monday. The Patterson Lumberjills finished 6-0 at New Iberia’s tournament this weekend for a first-place finish. The Lumberjills defeated Northside, Delcambre two times, Thibodaux, Cecilia and Byrd. CCHS beats Central Lafourche in 5 games

The Central Catholic volleyball team was in action Monday on the road at Central Lafourche. Quincee Wiggins, above during earlier season action, hits the ball against Academy of Our Lady. The Lady Eagles won 3-2 (26-28, 25-18, 25-22, 15-25, 15-12).
