CCHS baseball will host youth clinic

Central Catholic High School will hold a baseball clinic on April 13 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at Norman Park in Morgan City.

The event, for 6- to 12-year-olds, will be run by CCHS baseball coach Tyler Jensen and his coaching staff as well as current and former CCHS team members.

Check-in will be held from 5-5:30 p.m. with the clinic to follow.

A basic knowledge and fundamentals of the game will be taught, as youngsters will learn about pitching, hitting, throwing, fielding and base running.

Participants are asked to pre-register by mailing the entry form, found in today and upcoming editions of The Daily Review, to: Eagle Baseball Clinic, Attn.: Tyler Jensen, 2100 Cedar St., Morgan City, LA 70380.

Checks should be made payable to CCHS Baseball.

Those who pre-register prior to Monday will pay $25 and will be provided a T-shirt and snacks, while those who register after Monday will pay $30 and will receive snacks but a T-shirt is not guaranteed.
