Coburn's opens in Bayou Vista

Coburn Supply Company celebrated its first official day of business in its new location off of U.S. 90 in Bayou Vista Jan. 20. The new establishment, located in the former Oceaneering building, provides plumbing, heating and air conditioning and electrical service to municipal contractors, home builders and remodelers. Coburns also would like to announce their newest showroom will soon be ready for viewing featuring displays of a variety of quality plumbing products and accessories for the kitchen and bath. Ribbon-cutting ceremony at Subway in Amelia

The St. Mary Parish Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the business Saturday, which was followed by a grand opening celebration. Among those present for the ribbon-cutting ceremony were Donna Meyer, chamber president; Frank Fink, parish economic development director; Bob Harrison, chamber board member; Mike Heck, broker and owner of Heck Realty; Karen Froreich, M C Bank vice president of consumer lending; Lisa Nezat Patterson, chamber marking director; Eddie Nezat; and Clarence Denenea, Subway field consultant.
