Bollinger names exec for government programs
LOCKPORT, La. (AP) — Bollinger Shipyards Inc. has appointed Richard Murphy senior manager for Coast Guard and government programs.
Murphy joins the company after a 30-year career in the Coast Guard and retired with the rank of captain. He is a graduate of the Coast Guard Academy with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and holds a master's degree from the University of Illinois.
Bollinger designs and builds military patrol boats, ocean-going double-hull barges, offshore oil field support vessels, tug boats and other vessels at its 10 shipyards.
