Berwick’s baseball team is concentrating on batting fundamentals this week in preparation for its 5:30 p.m. playoff game Thursday against Jena. In earlier season action, senior Neal Theriot (above) gets a hit.

Central Catholic gets win April 22

The Morgan City High School Tigers were defeated by Vandebilt Catholic 11-5 in prep baseball play Wednesday at Tiger Diamond. Marquise Charles attempts to get a hit during game action. The Tigers are in action against Assumption in Napoleonville today with the game scheduled for 4 p.m., weather permitting.
