Beryl Belanger Louviere
August 12, 1929 — April 15, 2013
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 18, 2013, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Centerville for Mrs. Beryl Belanger Louviere, 83, a native of Franklin and resident of Centerville for the past 62 years. Beryl passed away Monday, April 15, 2013, at 2 a.m. at Lafayette General Medical Center.
The Rev. Ruben Primor will be the Celebrant for the Mass. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery.
Survivors include one son, Charles L. Louviere Jr. and his wife, Gwen, of Centerville; one daughter, Charlotte Theriot and her husband, Michael, of Franklin; one foster son, Spencer Breaux and his wife, Sandy, of Centerville; six grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles L. Louviere Sr.; her parents, Arthur Belanger Sr. and Inez Simoneaux Belanger; her grandparents, Sullie Simoneaux and Rosa Boudreaux Simoneaux, who raised her following the death of her parents; one brother, Arthur Belanger Jr.; one sister, Merrill Belanger Gorman; as well as numerous aunts and uncles, Odette Naquin, Mae Landry, Lillian Simoneaux, Johnny, Merlin, Clifford, Oneil, Charlie and Edward Simoneaux, who she was raised with as a sister.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church from 9 a.m. until time of Mass at 11 a.m., with the rosary being prayed at 10 a.m.
Serving as pallbearers will be Dane Theriot, James Theriot, Jason Louviere, Joseph Theriot, Tristan Breaux and Gary Naquin.
