Bayou Vista man arrested on warrant for domestic abuse battery

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:

—Elias Frank Todd, 19, of La. 182 in Bayou Vista, was arrested at 8:54 a.m. Thursday on a warrant for domestic abuse battery. A deputy responding to a complaint at the Bayou Vista residence made contact with Todd and learned of the warrant for his arrest. Todd was taken to the parish jail and held. No bail is set.

—Michelle Ashley, 43, of La. 182 East in Morgan City, was arrested at 12:38 p.m. Thursday for theft of goods. A deputy responded to a complaint of a shoplifter at Walmart in Bayou Vista. Upon arrival, the deputy learned from store security that Ashley was observed taking items and concealing them in her purse. Ashley was released on a summons to appear in court on Aug. 23.

St. Martin Parish Sheriff Ronnie Theriot reported the following arrests:

—Robert Gussman, 19, of Brashear Avenue in Morgan City, was arrested for simple burglary/movable or immovable, simple criminal damage to property and theft of more than $1,500.

—Breyden Oncale, 21, of Onstead Street in Morgan City, was arrested for simple burglary/movable or immovable, simple criminal damage to property and theft more than $1,500.

—Michael Thompson, 19, of Fifth Street in Morgan City, was arrested for simple burglary/movable or immovable, simple criminal damage to property and theft more than $1,500.

—Blake Vidos, 21, of Karen Court in Morgan City, was arrested for simple burglary/movable or immovable, simple criminal damage to property and theft more than $1,500.

Berwick Police Chief James Richard reported the following arrests:

—Crystal Pittman, 30, of Francis Street in Berwick, was arrested at 9:05 a.m. Thursday for driving under suspension, possession of schedule III and possession of a schedule V narcotic. Pittman was taken to the parish jail in Centerville.

—Tabitha Gross, 36, of Carter Lane in Berwick, was arrested at 12:02 p.m. Thursday for driving under suspension, expired license plate and no proof of insurance. Gross was released on $1,500 bail.

Patterson Police Chief Patrick LaSalle reported no arrests.
