Bayou Vista man arrested
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
—Eugene L. Green V, 33, of Sawmill Road in Garden City, was arrested at 6:36 p.m. Thursday on a warrant for failure to appear for violation of a protective order, on warrants for two counts of failure to appear for criminal trespassing and failure to appear for disturbing the peace. A deputy patrolling the Centerville area responded to a disturbance at a residence on La. 182 in Centerville. During the course of the investigation, the deputy came into contact with Green and learned of the warrants for his arrest. He was taken to the parish jail, booked and jailed. His bail is set at $20,000.
—Dean Jackson, 49, of Sun Road in Bayou Vista, was arrested at 1:33 a.m. today at a business on U.S. 90 in Berwick, on a warrant for cruelty to a juvenile. A deputy investigating a disturbance at a residence in Bayou Vista approached Jackson who stated that he wished to leave. The deputy learned of the warrant for Jackson’s arrest while transporting him. The warrant stems from an investigation into a disturbance during which Jackson grabbed a teenage male by the arm, the report stated. Jackson was taken to the parish jail, booked and jailed. Jackson was released on recognizance.
—Christopher Winter, 45, of Wise Street in Patterson, was arrested at 4:03 p.m. Thursday, on a warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia second offense. St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division detectives located Winter on the warrant at his residence. Winter was transported to the parish jail, booked and jailed. He was released on $2,500 bail.
Assistant Chief Glenn Blanco of the Morgan City Police Department reported the following arrests.
—Shantell Hartdegen, 29, of La. 20 in Schriever, was arrested at 2:48 p.m. Thursday and charged with a warrant for probation violation. Hartdegen was booked and jailed. No bail was set.
—David Thompson, 46, of La. 182 East in Morgan City, was arrested at 2:58 p.m. Thursday and charged with a warrant for failure to pay fines and a warrant for probation violation. He was booked and jailed. Bond is set at $992.
—Craig Albarado, 48, of Diane Drive in Morgan City, was arrested at 9:22 a.m. Thursday and charged with warrant for theft. He was booked and jailed. Bail is set at $5,000.
Berwick Police Chief James Richard reported no arrests.
Patterson Police Chief Patrick LaSalle reported no arrests.
