Atchafalaya Football League results

The Atchafalaya Football League will hold its last weekend of regular season games on Saturday at Tiger Stadium.
This past weekend, the Vikings beat the Colts and the Saints beats the Chiefs.
Vikings 28, Colts 14
Vikings quarterback Cameron Wiley led his team to victory with 145 total yards. Wiley ran for 96 yards on nine carries with a 21-yard touchdown. He had 49 passing yards.
Reid Wiley caught passes of 25 and 18 yards and ran for 16 yards for 59 total yards. Cooper Roussel ran for three touchdowns on 10 carries for 87 yards. Austin Price had two carries for 44 yards, Cody Roberie had three carries for 16 yards and Blake Hidalgo kicked two extra points.
Hidalgo, Ty Duthu, Wallace Carline and Lucas Hatch all played well on defense for the Vikings.
Landon Harper led the Colts with 140 yards on 10 carries with touchdown runs of 37 and 55 yards. Dajon Richard kicked two extra points and Dontre Nichols, Reginald Talver, Lucas Carnley, Jaymioun Butler, Matt Dardeau and Dewayne Escort all played well on defense. Ben Allen recovered a fumble for the Colts defense.
Saints 18, Chiefs 14
Tywaun Walker led the Saints to a four-point win with 17 carries for 301 yards and touchdown runs of 10, 12 and 40 yards.
Morquisse Charles had an interception and Zeph Hoffpauer, Seth Williams, Maurice Martin and Jean Pat Dupuy played well on defense for the Saints.
Chiefs quarterback Collin Louviere had 82 total yards with 43 rushing on eight carries with two touchdowns and three completions. His first completion was for 29 yards to Ke’sean Francois, the next a 7-yard pass to Cade Booty followed by a 3-yard pass to Justin Dupuy.
Yahkeem Mosley had two carries for 16 yards and kicked two extra points.
Marquil Singleton played well on defense for the Chiefs with a 24-yard return after strip on defense and Francois had a fumble recovery. Tyler O’Con, Chris Singleton, Ronnie Hatcher, Josh Jones, Chris Fabre and Kade Malone also played well on defense.
Vikings 42, Saints 26
On Nov. 5 the Vikings and Saints combined for 68 points in a wide-open Atchafalaya Football League showdown.
Wiley led the Vikings with 160 yards rushing with two touchdowns and he also passed for two touchdowns.
Wiley ran for touchdowns of 10 and 50 yards and tossed a 7-yard score to Reid Wiley and a 3-yard pass to Andrew Askew.
Roussel ran for 100 yards with touchdowns of 23 and 46 yards and Price added 27 yards rushing.
Hidalgo scored six points on three extra point kicks.
Duthu recovered a fumble and Ryan Hoover, Hatch, Collin Kulka and Grant Oubre all played well on defense.
Samarick Paul led the Saints with 174 yards rushing and three touchdowns on runs of 29, 28 and 55 yards. Paul also completed an 8-yard pass to Hunter Mouton.
Tywaun Walker ran for 135 yards and a 54-yard touchdown and Tavaris Howard had two extra point kicks.
Ronjuer Granger, Daniel Magann, Tanner Theriot, Ethan Nguyen, Bryce Grizzaffi, Tavaris Howard, Paul, and Maurice Martin all played well on defense for the Saints.
