Art, dance registration opens Jan. 7
Registration for the visual arts portion of the Bayou Beaux Arts and Dance Program will begin Jan. 7 at the Franklin Office of Community Development at City Hall.
There will be a waiting list. A class will be considered closed when the open and waiting lists are filled. Those on the waiting list will be contacted if there is a change in a class’s enrollment.
Visual arts classes will be held for students who are at least 13 years old. A maximum of seven students will be allowed in each visual arts class.
Drawing classes will be taught by Jon Eenigenburg June 8, 15 and 22 at City Hall from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Acrylics classes will be taught by Laura Zuniga June 19, 20 and 21 at City Hall from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Catherine Siracusa will teach encaustics June 29, July 6 and 13 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Franklin Recreation Center in Franklin.
