Alice Adams LaRocca
Alice Adams LaRocca, a lifelong resident of Morgan City, died peacefully at her home surrounded by her children.
Alice was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, the Holy Cross Choir and Catholic Daughters. She served Holy Cross Church as a Eucharistic Minister and a Catechism teacher.
Alice enjoyed spending time with her family, visiting with her children and grandchildren, singing in the choir, and the companionship of her beloved pet, Sophie.
Alice is survived by her four children, Nicholas F. LaRocca Jr. and his wife Katherine Thimmesch LaRocca, Penny LaRocca Kelley and her husband Michael Thomas Kelley of Fernandina Beach, Fla., Kim LaRocca Roth and her husband Thomas McNamara Roth of Houston, Texas, and Christopher Hugh LaRocca and his wife Tara Daves LaRocca.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Philip N. LaRocca, Hugh N. LaRocca, Mary Alice LaRocca Fuhrer and her husband James A. Fuhrer II, Nicholas F. LaRocca III, Rosalyn Conrad and her husband Kenneth Conrad, Thomas W. Kelley, Andrew T. Roth, Henry J. Roth, Harley R. LaRocca, and William N. LaRocca; and four great-grandchildren, James A. Fuhrer III, Spencer D. Fuhrer, Parker C. Conrad and Mary Katherine Conrad. She is also survived by one brother, Mickey Adams.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas F. LaRocca Sr.; one grandson, Adam Christopher Kelley; her parents, Hugh and Lillian Adams; and one sister, Ruby Adams Jett.
