Adams-DiMatteo say vows on Florida beach
Melanie Adams and Brandon DiMatteo were married Oct. 22 during a 5 p.m. double-ring ceremony on the beach at Fort Walton Beach, Fla. Don Howard officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mary McAdams of Pierre Part and the late Anthony Adams. The groom is the son of John and Terri DiMatteo of Patterson.
For the occasion, a bamboo altar adorned with tropical flowers was set among palm trees on the white-sand beach on the Gulf of Mexico.
Escorted in marriage by her sons, C.J. Campbell and Trey Campbell, the bride wore a strapless dress of linen and cotton complemented with a watermelon-colored sash.
She carried a bouquet of white orchids.
Brittany Johnson was her sister’s maid of honor. She wore a white cotton sundress with watermelon-colored flowers topped with a jacket of watermelon-colored satin.
Her bouquet was of pink orchids.
Aiden DiMatteo, son of the groom, was ringbearer.
Matt DiMatteo was his brother’s best man.
A reception followed at the Black Pearl Restaurant in Fort Walton Beach, Fla. Guests were served dinner.
The bride’s cake was two square tiers in white decorated with green and pink ribbon and seashells. Topping the confection was the bride’s and groom’s monogram.
The bride is a graduate of Morgan City High School. She is employed by Patterson State Bank.
The groom is a graduate of Berwick High School and he attended Nicholls State University in Thibodaux. He is employed with Expro Americas.
They honeymooned in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands and reside in Patterson.
